Don’t forget your staff climate survey 2022

You recently received an email from the UW Survey Center with a link to the 2022 Staff Climate Survey. This survey asks about your experience as an employee of UW–Madison.  We recognize employees experience the university work environment differently. The survey will help us understand these differences, identify best practices, and make improvements.

The UW Survey Center is administering the survey to ensure that responses remain confidential.  Supervisors and other university leaders will never see answers connected to a particular individual.

The survey is available from April 12 – May 3.  The link to access the survey electronically was sent from the UW Survey Center on April 12. Paper versions are also available for employees who do not use computers regularly for their jobs or do not feel comfortable completing the survey electronically.  Both the electronic and paper versions of the survey are available in Chinese, English, Hmong, Nepali, Spanish, and Tibetan.

There are in-person sessions on April 20, 21, 26 and 27 to provide employees with the time and place to complete the paper survey. Cultural Linguistic Services will provide language assistance and facilitation. These sessions are offered during daytime and late-night work hours. If you would like to complete the paper survey but are unable to attend one of the help sessions, you can request a paper copy via email or by phone.

The survey will take approximately 15 minutes to complete.  Supervisors are expected to provide flexibility to take the survey during work hours and in pay status.  This expectation includes the flexibility to attend the in-person help sessions, including travel to and from the session.

You can find more information about the survey at go.wisc.edu/staffsurvey2022.
